THE SPLENDOUR OF TREES
OVER A HUNDRED YEARS OLD |
 |
|
 |
The squirrels living in the park around "Les Roches"
no doubt ignore the fact that their playing ground
conceals fifteen species of trees, some of which
were imported many years ago from America.Whilst strolling around, you will be
delighted to
discover here and there a Weymouth or a Douglas
pine-tree, or an American red-oak whose growth is
as impressive as that of the hundred year old copper
beech which looks so flamboyant. |
 |
Also giant thuyas, maple-trees, wild cherry-trees
and acacias, contribute to the magic of a spot
completely reserved for relaxation, whether
through dreaming or sport. There's no question
about it - the park of "Les Roches" is one of the
most beautiful health areas in the world.
